How to Run a Live-Fire Drill

Updated over a year ago

Step 1: Selecting Your Drill

  • Navigate to the Activities Page: Upon logging in, you'll land on the Activities page. Here, you can choose between live-fire drills, dry-fire practice, or games.

  • Choose Live-Fire: Tap on "Live-Fire" to view a list of available drills.

  • Select a Drill: Upon choosing a drill, you'll see a comprehensive overview, including a video tutorial, textual instructions, target zones, round count, and distance.

Step 2: Customizing Your Drill

  • Adjust Distance: Tailor the drill distance to your needs.

  • Shot Timer Settings: Opt to turn the shot timer on or off and set a buzzer delay ranging from 0 to 10 seconds.

Target Selection: Indicate whether you're using a new target or the one from your last session. The app will disregard previous shots, focusing only on the current drill.

Step 3: Starting the Drill

  • Begin the Drill: After customization, start the drill. Ensure your device's front-facing camera is positioned to capture your body, arms, and firearm for optimal shot and movement detection.

  • Press 'DONE': Once you've completed the drill, hit the DONE button.

Step 4: Shot Detection and Summary

  • Capture the Target: Point the camera at your target within the frame for automatic detection. For best results, capture the target within 7 yards. If detection fails, adjust the zoom or distance.

Note: If the camera fails to detect the target automatically, consider zooming in or moving the target nearer. For optimal performance, aim to capture the target from within 7 yards.

  • Review the Summary: After capturing, the drill is synced and processed. You can immediately proceed to another drill or retry; the app will update your stats once online.

Note: Don't worry about signal strength; drills will sync once you're back online, ensuring your progress is always recorded.
